Thomas Gerber is Assistant Professor in Music History and Humanities at Marian College, Indianapolis, and at the University of Indianapolis. Mr. Gerber holds Master's degrees in harpsichord from Indiana University and in piano from Ball State University. His principal teachers included Fernando Valenti, Anthony Newman, and Elisabeth Wright.

He is a founding member of Ensemble Voltaire (formerly Ensemble Ouabache) and of the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra. Mr. Gerber serves as harpsichordist with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and is on the faculty of Butler University where he teaches harpsichord. He recently opened the St. Louis Early Music Festival with a solo recital of German Baroque harpsichord music.
